Andrew Crankshaw

Andrew has over a decade of experience in the private equity and venture capital sector with his entire career experience spanning the finance sector. Andrew has joined Atomico Ventures as Finance Director in 2008.

Prior to joining Atomico Ventures, Andrew was employed as the Deputy Funds Controller for the British based private equity firm 3i plc working within the Buyouts Division with responsibility for the quarterly investor fund reporting, accounting and operational running of 10 buyout funds. Before this, Andrew worked at the Swedish private equity firm Industri Kapital Limited based in London, joining initially as Investment Accountant with responsibility for the quarterly investor fund reporting and accounting for 5 buyout funds, and then with additional responsibility for the operational running, administration, including board membership of the fund's many Luxembourg based holding companies.

Andrew is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, has a BA Honours degree in Accountancy from the University of Central England, and additionally is a member of the Securities Institute by virtue of holding the Investment Administration Qualification.
